The two bugs in Ubuntu that had been opened on the ledgersmb package have
been updated as 'Fix-Released'. They were originally resolved with the
upload to Debian of 1.3.47-1 package and subsequent migration to Ubuntu.
That 1.3.x series version has since been replaced by the 1.4.x series; for
instance, 1.4.32+ds-1 which is in Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety) (That also did not
originally make into v16.04). The most recent version of that series in
Ubuntu is 1.4.41+ds-1.
The most recent versions are also generally available at the LedgerSMB
launchpad PPA at:
https://launchpad.net/~ledgersmb/+archive/ubuntu/main
